Willie Tynan began riding at age six in Kilkenny, Ireland, where he learned many of his skills of breaking and developing young horses from his father, Pat. Tynan grew up working and riding for the Moloney family of Warrington Equestrian Center, and had many wins in both Grand Prix and Young Horse Championships in Ireland and Europe. After working with Irish International Rider, Marion Hughes for several years, Tynan started his own training, showing and sales business in Ireland.

Following a very successful five years producing and selling high quality horses to the U.S. market, Willie had the opportunity to move from Ireland to the United States.  For three years, Tynan worked for Spy Coast Farm in Kentucky, and helped to build and develop their young horse training and development center.  Willie has spent the past few years working closely with George Morris helping to educate the next generation of American Team riders about the importance of being able to successfully produce their own young horses to Grand Prix Level and onto American Teams.

For the past several years years, Willie has worked closely with MDM Equestrian Group, LLC to develop our young horse, Fancy Girl, and bring her up the ranks from the six-year-old young jumpers to the Grand Prix level.  Tynan rides out of Red Barn Farm located in Milton, Massachusetts and Wellington, Florida.
